Nnamdi Kalu the spear head of the controversial Radio Biafra and director of the group the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, who is standing trial for treasonable felony filed against him by The Federal Republic of Nigeria, was today denied his application for bail before his Lordship John Tosho of the Federal High Court Abuja.
The basis of the denial being that he is a threat to national security and could also jump bail having dual citizenship. He is therefore to be remanded in prison custody until his trial.
