Angry South African young maidens took to the streets of Ladysmith KZN South Africa
on Friday the 5th of February, pledging their unending support to the controversial university bursary for girls who are still v!rg!ns, which is the initiative of the Uthukela mayor, Dudu Mazibuko.
Parents of the girls went further to that the bursary was a means to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS.
The bursary will also aid in the promotion of the culture of the people and also aims at protecting young girls as they are most vulnerable and could fall for the advances of older men, get infected with diseases or get pregnant, all to the detriment of their future.
