President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda who has been in office for 30 years has won his fifth tenure in office. This is after the country's social media space was shut down prio to the elections.
President Yoweri Museveni has been in office since after his rebel group seized office in 1986.
He won with a margin of 60.7% while the country's voters turn out was 63%.
