The Wonder Rare Breed Completely Black Chicken

We indeed learn everyday. Today i stumbled upon this rare breed completely black chicken. Yes you heard me. Completely BLACK! Everything including feathers, skin, meat, talons, beak, bones and all the organs and even the eggs are completely black. The blood is also slightly darker than usual. This is a very rare breed of chicken from Indonesia called Ayam Cemani.

Ayam translates as “chicken” in Indonesian, Cemani is Javanese for “completely black.”

The Cemani Chicken is sometimes called the Lamborghini of Chickens. It’s a super designer breed. If you buy two at once, you can actually get a breeding pair of these chickens for the bargain discount price of $2000 and one for between $1999 to $2500. Yes, that’s actually insane. But these chickens are the most insane thing ever.

The Cemani chicken has been said to boost immunity, aid digestion in human and generally more healthy to consume due to its low fat content.
