Biafran 2016 National Election Announced!

    
The Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra MASSOB Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has announced the plans to run a parallel government in the Southeast and Southsouth. Contd after the cut...
He made this controversial announcement at the Ojukwu Memorial Library, during the presentation of the Biafran National Budget.
He further posited that the elections which will be held on February 22, 2016, will be free and fair, adopting the Option A4 method i.e. open  ballot system. These elections will be held in all the wards in every state within the Biafran Territory.
He went ahead to announce the appointment of a Catholic priest Rev. Fr. Samuel Aniebonam as the Chairman of B-INEC Biafran Independent National Electoral Commission. Emphasizing that the commission will be constituted by men and women of God.
He also stated that the tenure of office of the Regional Governors or Minister will be 4 years and 9months, with no second tenure whatsoever and no option of an election tribunal once defeated at elections.
The National Director of Information of MASSOB, Mr Sunny Okoroafor added that only registered members of the Movement and its parent body Biafra Independence Movement (BIM) are qualified to vote and be voted for.
