Fr. Mbaka To Be Transferred By Catholic Church

Speculations have been raised that the controversial cleric and Director of the popular Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka may be transferred out of his station at Christ the King Parish G.R.A. Enugu. More after the cut...

These speculations have come with mixed interpretation by several people, while some are positing that the impending transfer was a  bumerang effect of his prophecies about the Nigerian politics, especially towards the defeat of Fmr. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan at the polls and the emergence of President Buhari of APC as winner irrespective of having anointed Dame Patience Jonathan as the next Nigerian First Lady during her visit to the Adoration Ministry.

They further insinuated that the impending transfer would also affect other priests within the Diocese so as to make it appear to be a normal Chuch routine.

Some others confirmed that the foreseeable reaction of Adoration Ministry faithful, which consists of over 80% of The Catholic Diocese of Enugu and beyond is greatly feared by the Church.

However several others have affirmed that it is indeed a normal practice of the Church to transfer and reshuffle priests within the Diocese once every six years. However people are being over sentimental and blaming it on politics because of the speculations that Rev. FR. Mbaka may also be transfered. Further stating that the Bishop had the sole power to transfer whichever Priest he wishes to so do.
