Photos taken at one of China's Electricity generating companies in Yancheng, Jiangsu province shows a truck carrying $470 million worth of Chinese Yuan, which is first shredded and burnt with straw to produce electricity for customers.
According to an employee of the company Zhu Hongwei in an interview with China Radio Internațional each truck of damaged currency weighs 30 tonnes and the company burns an estimated 1,800 tonnes of notes annually as they have high heat value and less moisture.
This is a mind blowing initiative that the power generating companies in Nigeria could adopt to help improve the light situation in Nigeria.
