The panel recommended her as the candidate in view of her dedication and consistency the party pursuant to Section 4 (3) of the 2014 Guidelines For Nomination of Candidates for Public Office of the party. The panel recommended her for the candidacy and labeled Uche Ekwunife who is barely 2 weeks old in the party as a fair-weather hen politician, that abandons political parties at will.
This is following the decision of the Court of Appeal Enugu, nullifying the election that produced Uche Ekwunife as senator under the People's Democratic Party.
What then happens to Uche Ekwunife having since abandoned the PDP who has nominated Osita Chidoka as its flagbearer for the rerun election?
